The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

Great suspense, almost psychological torture, which in my perverse way I quite enjoyed. It slows down a bit in the middle and becomes slightly repetitive, but then again towards the end it picks up speed and intensity – a runaway train! It will keep you holding on to your seat.

I give it four instead of five stars because of a particularly gruesome theme which my stomach found difficult to digest.
